Ahmad Atwan

Managing Director focused on energy infrastructure investing in the Americas. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners (MSIP), I was a Managing Director at BlackRock in the Global Private Equity Group, a direct private equity investment vehicle. There, I led investments in energy and commodities, including oil, natural gas, energy services and pipeline infrastructure. Prior to this, I spent over a decade in private equity, operating company and management consulting roles. I was also Investment Committee co-chair and COO of a Dubai-based investment firm that managed over $450 million for direct investments into energy and telecommunications companies. I received a B.S. from Harvard University in Economics and was selected as a Rhodes Scholar. I also earned a graduate degree from Oxford University in International Relations.
