Community Leader, Volunteer, and Social Entrepreneur in Beijing, China
I'm a Ph.D. candidate in Development Studies, specializing in International Agricultural Policy and Rural Development, within the College of Humanities and Development Studies at China Agricultural University in Beijing (expected to graduate by 2025). Additionally, I have earned an M.A. degree in Development Studies, with a focus on Rural Development and Management Studies, from the same institution. My educational journey also includes a one-year Diploma in Servant Leadership, a program in intensive leadership studies conducted by Global Leadership International (GLI) in Kabul. Furthermore, I graduated from Kabul University, where I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Public Policy and Administration, contributing to my strong foundation in the field. In my early educational years, I encompassed primary education at Abdul Ghafor Sultani High School in Jaghori District culminating in graduation from Ghazi High School in Kabul, Afghanistan.
In terms of my professional experience, as the Founder and Chief Strategy Officer of TELA English Language Academy in Quetta, Baluchistan, Pakistan, I have played a pivotal role in promoting technology training and English language education. Furthermore, I have founded and been instrumental in establishing BeeHive Café & Fast Food in Quetta, where my responsibilities have extended to the position of Chief Marketing Officer. My career prior to the political transition in Afghanistan also features engagements as a Research and Business Development Specialist at The President's Office for Policy and Strategy at the Presidential Palace as well as a Research and Data Analysis Fellow at Adroit Associate Consulting Services (AACS) in Kabul, Afghanistan.
I have also shared my knowledge as a Volunteer Lecturer at Kabul University, specifically within the Faculty of Public Policy and Administration, Department of Development Management. My commitment to education and empowerment is further evident through my role as the Founder and Chief Visionary Officer at E3 Community Afghanistan (Educate, Empower, Engage - Afghanistan). I have been instrumental in driving positive change. I have also co-founded and served as the Program Manager/Facilitator at LEAD Afghanistan (Leadership Education to Assist Development – Afghanistan), contributing to leadership education and development efforts in Afghanistan. My strengths according to Gallup's Strengthsfinder are Significant, Futuristic, Intellectual, Input, and Learner.
