I have just resigned from my position as the CTO of GTC Dis Ticaret Ltd Sti, a solar module manufacturing company with manufacturing facilities in Adiyaman, Turkey. I was in charge of complete manufacturing line and processes. During my short tenure, GTC has successfully applied for IEC and UL certifications for mono-crystalline silicon based module products for selling into Europe and USA respectively. To-date these have been the most efficient modules ever produced in Turkey.

I was also in charge of the R&D activities at the company, managed to get funded for "thermal analysis and simulation" of the modules produced. This is a first time in the solar module manufacturing sector in Turkey that a company uses a commercial multi-physics simulation tool called COMSOL to guide its production processes and improve cell-to-module efficiency losses due to temperature behavior of the layers making up a module.

Yet another project that I managed to get funding is the design and production of smart solar boxes, combining the functionalities of junction-box, micro-inverter, and an optimizer into one. The aim is to achieve performance and price points that are unmatched in the global industry for the balance of systems in the solar power plant construction and operational efficiencies.

Prior to GTC, I was the Director of Hardware Platform Development at Airties Wireless Networks where I oversaw the design and production of two award winning IEEE 802.11ac based WLAN consumer products targeted for broadband internet mesh-networking (making Gbps Ethernet networks obsolute) and HD video streaming/bridging applications. In IBC 2015 Amsterdam, the product Air 4920 won the prestigious CSI Award for Best Customer Premise Technology. In IBC 2014, the product Air 4820 also won the same award.
