Always a bit of a globetrotter, I eventually ended up living in Oxford since 1999 - one of the most beautiful cities I've ever seen. Same old story as so many others that end up here: "Came to stay for six months..." The rest is history.

It's a small enough place so that you will bump into people you know from time to time, but interesting enough, with its transient multicultural population, to feel I always meet new fascinating people who are different from me and who I'm learning a lot from.

We're lucky enough to live in the most eclectic part of Oxford (East Oxford), with many different cultures and social classes. It's very bohemian and laid back. People just accept each other for who they are, not for what they are. Couldn't imagine living anywhere else at the moment....

Cooking, photography, growing my own veg, singing in a choir, travels - these are some of my hobbies.
