Ahsan Abbas is an inspirational and internationally-reknowned educator, speaker, traveller and humanitarian/landscape photographer. His photographic work has been commissioned and exhibited by a wide range of high-level organisations, including the United Nations and international aid organisations working in war-torn regions.He is passionate about capturing images which absorb the viewer and take them, for a moment, beyond the here and now to another time and place. His travels have taken him to more than 40 countries, including North & South America, across Africa, the Middle East and the whole of Europe. He has documented his many years of experience of leading individual, small group and large group mountain treks throughout 4 continents in a diverse and breathtaking selection of images, each of which tells a unique and beautiful story. He is frequently called upon to share the stories behind his images, as well as the unique approach he brings to his work, through international speaking platforms and forums. He is a Fellow of the Royal Geograhical Society and shortlisted Landscape Photographer of the Year 2013.
