training, Community building, and science in Heidelberg, Germany
Since 2005, my work has focused on supporting researchers (mostly academics working in the life sciences) in their professional and community development. I love this work - helping people work together to get the stuff that matters done!
I'm particularly excited by my work with the Heidelberg Unseminars in Bioinformatics (HUB) series of events we've been running since 2012.
I've done this work at the EMBL (European Molecular Biology Laboratory) in Heidelberg, Germany, at the Earlham Institute (EI) in Norwich, UK, as Head of the ELIXIR-UK Coordination Office, and starting 2020 as a trainer with EMBO Solutions GmbH.
