Aidan Smith

I am a web developer and software engineer currently living in Falmouth, United Kingdom.

During my years at the University I have learnt to interconnect and configure computers, as well as how to produce applications that look attractive and original as well as being functional. I have also learnt to work within small groups to produce applications, websites, databases and reports to accompany.

During my work placement working for Skills Group UK I gained much experience developing in HTML, C#, PHP, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL. Within my work placement I would maintain and develop an existing system that was created specifically for the company. This strengthened and developed my knowledge of these languages and the development cycle. I furthered my knowledge again in PHP and MYSQL by using them in my Final Project, which contributed to a large percentage of my degree.

I am an enthusiastic, reliable and trustworthy individual and consider myself to be very hardworking and conscientious. I work very well on my own initiative or within a team.

I am highly organised and have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, tutors and lecturers. I always meet deadlines and my work is always completed to a high standard.
