Hey! My name is Aidan and here is a picture of my cat, Whitney, and I. My family adopted her when I was around ten, so nearly half of my life has been spent around my cat, as I am now 19. Because I have grown up with cats, I have always found myself more of a cat person than a dog person, but I do love both. I love my kitty, but so does the rest of my family. I have a twin brother, Perry, and a little sister who are just as affectionate toward her. We adopted her not far from where we live, at the PetCo in Edgewood, Atlanta. My family and I know the people at this PetCo very well because I have lived in Atlanta my whole life and have been shopping there since I was little. I think I connect with my cat very well because I see lots of similarities between us. For one, Whitney is always hungry or always eating - like me. I love a good meal and I haven’t met many people, or animals, who look at food the way we do. Secondly, my cat is very social. She always wants attention and will try to interact with anyone who comes in the house. Although I don’t always seek attention, I find, just like her, I am very social and like seeing people and meeting new people. Everyone in my household knows the importance of family, and spending time with family. Whitney has grown to become a great example of that, because although she is just our pet, my brother, my sister, my parents, and I see her and treat her like she’s much more. I went through elementary, middle, and high school with Whitney, and even though i’m in my first year of college and don’t get to see her very much, she will always play an important role in my life growing up
