Swimming is the most versatile and adventurous way of viewing this beautiful planet. Swimming can be paired with snorkeling, scuba diving, arriving on shore from a boat, and exploring the ocean's beauty. Swimming shows the beauty above and below water. The water's beauty is expansive and radiant, with various flora and fauna to be seen and discovered. Many things can be experienced and seen within the ocean's expansive borders. There are giant formations such as volcanoes, caves, and ships on the ocean floor. Furthermore, from the earth's waters, viewing many beautiful things above the water such as mountains, coastal cities, cliff sides, beaches, and cities such as Dubai from a pool, 51 floors up is also possible.
I love the ability to feel like I'm floating and flying simultaneously. Swimming allows me to move up, down, left, or right; in juxtaposition to the surface, movements are much more limitless. I feel that the most freedom is discovered underneath the expansive waters of the ocean and many channels, rivers, lakes, and streams.
Experiences such as snorkeling in the American Virgin Islands, where I discovered wreckage on the ocean's floor following a hurricane, make me love the water. Additionally, scuba-diving off the coast of the Florida Keys, where I fed eels and nurse sharks, drives my love of the water even higher and heightens my desire to explore many more regions. Next up, I want to see the waters of Europe!
