Bio

Hi, I'm Aidan Samountry. I'm an independent filmmaker, actor, and aspiring model with a passion for telling stories that make people see the world from a different perspective. I've been making films since I was nine years old, and creating has been a huge part of who I am ever since.

My first official film, UNcreative, was released on April 24, 2026. It explores how artificial intelligence can influence—and sometimes diminish—human creativity. I enjoy making films that challenge ideas, spark conversations, and experiment with unique visuals, symbolism, and emotion. I want every project I create to feel like a glimpse into the way I see the world.

Beyond filmmaking, I have a deep interest in entomology and taxidermy. I ethically raise, preserve, pin, and frame butterflies and moths. I create these pieces to honor the beauty of nature. I occasionally sell my framed specimens and enjoy sharing this passion with others.

People often describe me as confident, creative, and artistic. I love expressing myself through film, photography, fashion, music and visual art, and I'm always looking for new ways to grow as a creator. One of my goals is to pursue modeling alongside my work as a filmmaker and actor, using it as another form of artistic expression.

As a Sagittarius, I enjoy exploring new ideas, taking creative risks, and constantly challenging myself. I believe confidence comes from trusting yourself, staying true to who you are, and never being afraid to stand out. To me, anything is possible when you're willing to believe in yourself, work hard, and keep creating.

My favorite films are The Great Gatsby (2013), Chicago (2002), and Burlesque (2010). These films stand out to me because of their storytelling, visuals, and unforgettable performances. I've always loved the glamour and style of the 1920s, so The Great Gatsby and Chicago are major inspirations for my future films. I also love Burlesque because of its showgirl aesthetic—the excitement of being on stage, under the lights, and surrounded by music and performance. I love films that are bold, theatrical, and fun, and those films continue to inspire the stories I want to tell.

I'm always looking ahead to the next project, the next story, and the next opportunity to create something meaningful.
