Mr. Aidem is President & CEO of Iconic Entertainment Inc., a multi-channel network he co-founded in 2011 with Michael Hirschorn. IconicTV combines top-tier talent (Jay Z, Meredith Vieira, Skrillex & more) with best-in-class brands to create premium channels for YouTube and other platforms.
Mr. Aidem has extensive experience domestically and abroad in the successful development and operation of cable television networks. His experience is both multi-functional -- including programming, distribution, marketing, sponsorship -- and multi-platform, i.e. across both traditional & digital media.
Larry began his media & entertainment career at MCA-Universal where he served as promotion coordinator on NATIONAL LAMPOON’s ANIMAL HOUSE. He subsequently transitioned to pay television and following stints at HBO/Time Warner, Viacom & Showtime/CBS, Mr. Aidem served for 11 years as President & CEO of Sundance Channel LLC. He and his team built substantial value for the partners, culminating in the successful sale of the Channel to Cablevision in May 2008. Commenting on Mr. Aidem's stewardship, Sundance Founder Robert Redford said, "The Sundance Channel team, led by CEO Larry Aidem, has exceeded every expectation I had for this venture."
Mr. Aidem sits on the boards of ProSiebenSat1 Media AG and NYC's Playwrights Horizons.
Larry received his BA from Stanford University and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
