Ailan Olsen is an accomplished watercolorist and mixed media artist whose work is described as haunting and ethereal. Her experiences as a world traveler are reflected fusing European, Asian and Latin styling. The goal of her work is to bring peace and tranquility to the viewer. A former costume designer, she acts as a costume historian for projects including Atlanta Women in Film, reenactment groups, artists, and area theater groups.
She is a graduate of Georgia State University in Computer Animation and Graphic Design. Living in the Atlanta area for the past 20+ years, she calls Marietta, GA home. The artistic household includes jazz pianist husband, Tom, son, daughter, and a menagerie of animals.
