Aisha Mootry is a Chicago native and accomplished advertising professional of nearly 15 years. Her advertising career has been split between advertising agency and entertainment. As a media supervisor with Starcom MediaVest Group, Mootry led multicultural thinking on a variety of accounts including Walmart where she contributed invaluable insights to the new business pitch— a retail win worth $500 million to the agency!

She continued to expand her knowledge selling cross-platform video solutions for iOne Digital and TV One where she was regarded as a “rock star” seller! Mootry’s consultative and client centric approach to advertising sales has led to long-standing client relationships and two promotions. Additionally, she earned the esteemed President's Club honor (2013) and continued to grow revenue +41% YOY accounts and welcome nine new advertisers to TV One (2016-17). She traveled across the Midwest and Southeast regions to conduct business for the company.

Aisha Mootry is a nationally recognized media professional. Nominated by senior management for leadership training, Radio One Mentorship Program (2016), She Runs It formerly Advertising Women of New York (AWNY) named her one of Advertising’s Working Mothers of the Year (2009). The organization recognizes women with a knack for truly striking that balance between motherhood and career woman. She has been featured in national publications like: Black Enterprise (2006), The IMC Review (2008) and Working Mother Magazine (2009). When work is complete Mootry enjoys leisure travel, spending time with her husband, two children and mentoring young professionals. Aisha Mootry is certainly a woman to watch as she continues to excel in the fast paced world of media.
