Hi,

My given name was Christine, but now everyone calls me Aisha. This is my name when I reverted to Islam. I had worked as a Physical Therapist for 15 years and quited after I met my husband.

Currently I am a full time Mom. Some people have been questioning what I do at home all day. I do unpaid work, often thankless work, which starts the moment I wake up and doesn’t even end when I go to sleep. I am facing challenges everyday; the toddler tantrums, the toilet training incidents, food battles to them, food on the floor, crayons on the wall, even my kids' sibling rivalry, and also my 2 year old baby that never seems to stop crying, like an endless cycle! I also shop for food, prepare, cook it, attempt to feed it to my children, clean it off the floor, wash the dishes, and repeat in three hours again. All these require a lot of patience, ability and understanding. I feel tired most of the time yet being a mom is fulfilling and I am enjoying being a full time mom. When you see your children's smile the tiredness are gone and you will smile yourself.

Aside from being a Mom, I really want to do something, like business, and I miss my financial independence.
