I work at the intersection of sustainable cities and information technology developing applications that help cities calculate their climate impacts and help them develop and monitor climate action plans. Always looking for new sources of data, and novel ideas to improve resilience.
My role taps deep interdisciplinary knowledge in topics such as waste and wastewater treatment, building energy, renewables, transportation planning, ecosystem services, carbon accounting, and policy analysis; to produce tools to help a diverse range of cities to improve their performance across those areas.
I dabble with code, but most spare time is with my wife nurturing a wide array of interesting plants. I've recently started developing some amateur photography skills, all creative commons licensed, of course.
