Traverse City, MIchigan
I am originally from Cleveland, Tennessee- the headquarters of two Internationally-known religious denominations. It is located just outside Chattanooga- as in "Pardon me boy, is that the Chattanooga Choo-Choo?"
Yes it is.
In 2010, I married a michigander. We loaded up, no, we stacked high the back of his truck with my belongings so that banjo music would have been acceptable as we exited out of the driveway.
I moved to the wilderness that is the upper Peninsula of Michigan. There I became acquainted with quasi-isolated living, Snow-shoveling, deer bait and bear feed ( or is it bear bait and deer feed? I keep forgetting...).
I enjoyed life in my 1930s Bungalow Dream House in a town with few modern conveniences, such as-
-Businesses that accept plastic;
-A restaurant besides McDonald's;
- Close Proximity ( I had to travel 45 miles to civilization).
After three years and good times I moved to Traverse City- I LOVE it here. I have made it my home.
I invite you to read my blog- I write because it is what I love to do. I welcome feedback both pro and con if you feel so inclined (sure, you've got better things to do, but...).
