The Russian language, when used skillfully, is beautiful, melodious, expressive, flexible, obedient, smart and capacious, wrote one of the most famous writers in Russia, A. I. Kuprin. Russian is the 8-th most spoken language in the world by number of native speakers and the 4-th by total number of speakers. It is also one of the six official languages of the United Nations.
