Ripples in the Water

As a writer, I am the ripples in a body of water. The initial disturbance that creates ripples is the idea that sparks the composition. The larger the water, or the scope of what that composition could be, the more room for the ripples to travel; as they grow bigger and stronger, the execution of the idea becomes much more real. However, I sketch, rewrite and piece together. Ripples are never in one form completely. Smaller forms always surround, they are rough drafts and discarded ideas that never truly leave the thoughts that surround the composition.
