Ajab Samrai FRSA (Fellow Royal Society of Arts) is a multi-award-winning Chief Creative Officer with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the creative industry. Samrai is revered for taking a creative yet strategic approach to projects, as well as for his ability to bring in new business. Over the span of his career, Samrai has won over £200 million worth of accounts, cementing his reputation as someone who delivers.
Having won over 300 professional commendations and awards at top shows such as One Show, Cannes, Clios and D&AD, Samrai has continued to create engaging and relevant work for a large range of clients.
He has worked with many global brands including British Airways, Japanese Airlines, Delta Airways, Vodafone and T-Mobile, and as such, has gained specialised knowledge of the aviation and telecoms industries.
Samrai began his career at Saatchi & Saatchi when he was hired by the company’s Executive Creative Director, the now-legendary Paul Arden. Samrai quickly moved on from his role as Junior Art Director to become Creative Group Head at Saatchi & Saatchi London.
In 2013, Samrai became the Chief Creative Officer for O&M Japan Group, where he was credited with having creatively and financially turned the group around in just 18 months.
In 2018, Samrai was promoted to the role as the Chief Creative Officer of O&M ASEAN.
In 2019, BLITZWORKS was founded by Samrai with two business partners.
