Ajay Nair, PhD

I am a Associate Research Scientist at the Columbia University. I completed PhD from Monash University (Australia) and IIT Bombay (India). My interests are in Transcriptional regulation, mathematical modelling, machine learning, Systems Biology, and Cell culture.

I am currently working on identifying and targeting aberrant regulatory interactions in fibrosis and cancer. Previously, I have worked on dynamic and stochastic modelling of regulatory networks; applied machine learning techniques to biological data to infer regulatory networks; and dynamical modelling of electrical systems.
