nonprofit consulting, Fundraising, and Strategic Planning in Amarillo, Texas
An Amarillo, Texas native, Amy is pleased to call the Texas Panhandle "home". Daughter of a Jayhawk and a Sooner, she is a Texan through and through and proudly wears the burnt orange of her beloved alma mater, UT-Austin.
She's a wife (married to Bob Juba for 21 years), mom (to Ben-age 18 and Tom-age 15), and Christ-follower (since age 12 thanks to a good 'ol Baptist youth retreat and the Holy Spirit's prompting along with a strong Presbyterian upbringing).
Amy has started her own nonprofit consulting business, armed with a Certified Fundraising Manager Certification (CFRE) and over 20 years of fundraising experience as a professional and volunteer.
/She was formerly the Director of Development at the Don Harrington Discovery Center in Amarillo, the region's coolest hands-on science museum. Prior to joining DHDC, she implemented her passion for serving the community and business and sales skills to assist nonprofit organizations, most recently coordinating the $25 million capital campaign for Harrington Cancer's Center's new patient facility.
A loyal member of the GOP, she has managed the campaign for U.S. Rep. Mac Thornberry and worked tirelessly for U.S. Senator Ted Cruz, Texas Senator Kel Seliger and Texas Rep. Four Price.
In her "spare" time, Amy can be found pounding the pavement in West Hills training for the next 5K when she's not volunteering for her sons' school and the community.
