Ruchira Soysa

I was born on June 25th, 1988 in Galle. But growing up in Kandy. Now I live in Colombo.

I am an Information Technologist been serving in Regular Naval Force of Sri Lanka Navy since 18 April 2007. Since enlistment, I worked as Information Technologist in Directorate of Naval Information Technology.

I have experience of worked IT related duties in several Naval areas such as North Central Naval Area, Eastern Naval Area, Southern Naval Area, and Naval Headquarters during the last 12 years.

Due to my dedication to work and excellent employability skills as well as integrity and responsibility, I was chosen as a member of personal staff to the Commander of the Sri Lanka Navy in 2012. Admiral (Dr) Jayanath Colombage who was the Commander during that period has rewarded a letter of commendation to appreciate my devotion and responsibility during work.

I have successfully completed IT Qualifying Course in 2009 and in 2016 successfully completed Petty Officer IT Qualifying Course in Information Technology School in Naval & Maritime Academy, Trincomalee. Due to my excellent academic accomplishments as well as I was the second highest average taker in the year 2016 and selected as an IT Instructor in Naval & Maritime Academy. I gave my maximum commitment and consecration over a period of 03 years in Information Technology School as a dedicated and devoted IT .

Also, I am qualified in Computer Hardware sector, Desktop Publishing, and Networking. I gave my maximum commitment and consecration over a period of 12 years in my carrier as a dedicated and devoted Information Technologist.
