Hello — I'm Akanksha Sharma, a professional beauty artist and bridal makeup specialist based in Dholpur, Rajasthan.

I am the founder of Akanksha Sharma Beauty Parlour & Academy — a small but honest beauty setup located at 200, Ward No.22, Khod Khidki Mohalla, near Badaa Peer in Purana Shahar, Dholpur. This parlour is not a franchise or a big chain. It's the result of everything I have learned over the last 5+ years — built with my own hands, one client at a time.

MY JOURNEY

My beauty journey started in Gwalior, where I took my first basic and advanced makeup training. After learning the foundations, I returned to Dholpur and started taking small bookings — mostly family functions and local events.

But I knew I needed more exposure. So I moved to Delhi and Noida, where I worked in professional salons and beauty studios. That experience changed everything. I learned how to handle different skin types, how to manage time during bridal bookings, and how to make every client feel comfortable and heard.

The most important milestone in my learning was the advanced training I received from Parul Garg Ma'am — one of India's most respected makeup artists. That training gave me a completely new perspective on bridal makeup and professional beauty work.

Today, I hold multiple certificates in makeup, hair styling, and skin care. But more than certificates, I value the real-world experience I have gained by working with hundreds of faces over the years.

Along with the parlour, I run a small beauty academy where I teach girls who are serious about learning makeup and building a career.

I come from a small town myself. I know how difficult it is to find the right training, the right mentor, and the right opportunity. My goal is simple — to help women of Dholpur and nearby areas feel beautiful and confident, and if they want, to help them turn beauty into a career.
