I’m Akarsh Surendran, an international education marketing specialist and the Director & CEO of Lasagesse Ltd, Malta — a company exclusively focused on bridging overseas schools with the Indian market.

Through Lasagesse, I work with leading institutions across Europe, including Knights College Malta, to establish their presence in India by building partnerships with study abroad agencies, developing franchise opportunities, and creating effective recruitment strategies for international students.

My professional journey began in Kerala as a journalist after earning a B.Sc. in Electronic Media from the University of Madras and a PG Diploma in Journalism from the Rajendra Prasad Institute of Communication and Management. Later, I expanded into business and marketing, earning a PG Diploma in Business Administration from the London School of Commerce, Malta, and an MBA from the University of Suffolk (UK).

Currently, I’m pursuing a PhD in Digital Economy and Business at the Transport and Telecommunication Institute, Riga, Latvia, focusing on the intersection of technology, education, and international business growth.
