Akash Roy

Hi, I'm Akash. I'm an enterprener, Software Engineer, project Consultant and a Family Man, who lives in Kolkata on purpose and works full-time as the chief technical officer at JPR Infoserve. When I'm not building web apps with the coolest web developers and clients around the world, I'm hearing musics, reading books, and getting yelled at on the Internet.

In a past life, I was a senior web developer at Webgrity and, before that, taught and evaluated computer science education. I'm the CEO of JPR Infoserve, a software developer meetup based in Kolkata – one of several ventures I'm involved in to attract and retain more people in the web development community.

Lately I've been focusing on making tools to teach and facilitate the creation and knowledge of Education, speaking about and teaching web development all over the place, and trying to help my peers take themselves a little less seriously.
