Project Manager, Consultant, and Writer in Pakistan
Being Chief Operating Officer of Punjab Safe Cities Authority, it is my duty to make cities of Punjab and of Pakistan, safer place for people present in these spaces. Before that I was working for NACTA - National Counter Terrorism Authority Islamabad. Apart from this, I am an entrepreneur and a poet- a risk taker and a dreamer! Having had the experience of working as professional civil engineer and then in public organizations in Punjab and KP provinces of Pakistan, I also had the opportunity to lead multinational teams on very sensitive projects in critical times in Europe and Africa. During these assignments, I have served in Sudan (where I contributed in the conflict negotiations of the Darfur Peace Agreement), Nigeria and Kosovo. In UK, I have worked as professional risk analyst for Pakistan and Afghanistan. As Governance Advisor I worked with UNDP and government of Pakistan to prioritize their needs in post 2010 Floods scenario. Other than Administration and Public Policy analysis; training is also my area of interest. Being a certified trainer from UNDP since 2003, I design curriculum and implement trainings in various cultural settings. I have been working with UNDP, UNODC and The Asia Foundation, Pakistan.
Lately I have contributed on subjects as diverse as counter terrorism, law enforcement, security of foreigners in Pakistan, border management, public policy, accountability, international Law and constitutional developments. In my creative moments I write poetry and contribute for national newspapers on politics, accountability, rule of law and governance.
