I am a Cybersecurity, IT Risk, Governance, and Technology Transformation leader with over 20 years of experience in designing, securing, transforming, and operating mission-critical IT systems across the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector.

Currently, I serve as Senior Vice President at Mizuho Global Services (MGS), supporting the Mizuho Group’s Global Capability Center and leading global IT Infrastructure, Operations, Governance, Risk, and Cybersecurity capabilities. My focus is on building resilient technology ecosystems, strengthening cybersecurity, developing high-performing teams, enabling global collaboration, and creating scalable operating models that deliver measurable business value.

As an MCA–IICA Qualified Independent Director, I bring a strong understanding of business governance, technology risk, regulatory expectations, and Board-level accountability. My career has evolved from hands-on technology, infrastructure, website and application security into enterprise leadership roles spanning cybersecurity strategy, IT operations, IT GRC, cyber resilience, regulatory compliance, technology risk, and large-scale capability building.

I have led and contributed to complex technology and cybersecurity initiatives across banking and financial services, including Security Operations Centers, threat detection and response, cyber incident management, vulnerability management, identity and privileged access management, cloud security, data protection, digital risk protection, security architecture, third-party risk management, business continuity, disaster recovery, and regulatory assurance.

My experience includes leadership and technology roles with Mizuho Bank, the National Stock Exchange, HDFC Bank, and ICICI Bank. I have supported mission-critical banking platforms, large-scale technology infrastructure, sensitive financial-data environments, national digital infrastructure, cloud adoption, enterprise security transformation, and regulatory compliance. I have also designed and delivered large technology and business-system initiatives with a combined value exceeding INR 100 crore.

Mentored by accomplished CIOs, CTOs, and CISOs across leading financial institutions, I have developed a practical understanding of how technology, cybersecurity, business risk, governance, operational resilience, and customer trust must work together. I have contributed to public-cloud strategy and cloud-integration frameworks designed to enable secure, controlled, scalable, and governance-driven cloud adoption.

I believe cybersecurity is not merely a technology function—it is a strategic business-enabling capability that protects customers, critical services, information, reputation, and organizational trust. Effective cybersecurity requires more than deploying tools or achieving compliance. It requires strong architecture, risk-based decision-making, operational discipline, continuous improvement, capable people, and committed leadership.

A significant part of my leadership journey has involved building and mentoring multidisciplinary teams, developing technology and cybersecurity capabilities, and fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, accountability, learning, innovation, and trust. I strongly believe that sustainable technology and cybersecurity transformation requires investment not only in platforms and controls but also in people, skills, experience, leadership, and continuous development.

My approach combines strategic thinking with operational depth, design thinking, and an entrepreneurial mindset. I enjoy translating complex technology and cyber risks into practical business decisions, connecting governance requirements with meaningful security outcomes, and balancing security, resilience, cost efficiency, performance, innovation, and business agility—while maintaining an appropriate level of IT risk.

I am passionate about cybersecurity strategy, cyber resilience, IT risk, technology governance, critical infrastructure protection, data privacy, cloud, artificial intelligence, innovation, leadership development, and the evolving impact of emerging technologies.
