Akinola Shasanya

Shasanya Akinola is a Change Agent, Creative thinker, Who is passionate about leadership development and creating institutional opportunities for young people.

I am a final year student of the university of Lagos and holds an Executive Mini MBA in Leadership and Management from Accra Business School in Ghana.

I have 3 years of experience in volunteering and in the development space work. Am a Member of the Lagos State Youth Parliament Chairman Committee on Diaspora and Foreign Affairs, Young Africa leaders initiative (YALI) Lagos Network and an Alumnus of the Africa Young Leaders Fellowship Programme Center in Accra,Ghana.

I was a part of the 20 selected Youths to draft out the Lagos State Youth Agenda & a member of the 4 man team to organize the first constitution quiz competition amongst students of secondary school in Lagos State.

I represented the Lagos State Youth parliament at the Africa Youth Commission 3rd General Assembly in Gambia and also the Africa Youth Movement retreat in Ethiopia under the Africa Union youth Envoy.
