Akin Omotesho is a first class penultimate undergraduate of Management and Accounting at the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University. He’s a student member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, Chartered Institute of Loan and Risk Management, Professional Bureau of Finance and Ife Business School. He attended Igbobi College Yaba where he held the position of the Library Prefect in his ultimate year. While at Igbobi College Yaba, He represented his school in many competitions in India Language School, popular Learning Point Debate at the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Enoch Adeboye Mathematics Competition, Berlina College Debate Competition, among others where he made his school proud.Akinzo, as he’s fondly called, has also won several individual awards such as Igbobi College’s Overall best student in West African Examination Council (WAEC) and National Examination Council (NECO), Igbobi College’s Overall best student from 2009 to 2013, 1st Best Overall creative writer at the annual Talabi Esubiyi’s Memorial Essay Competition for two consecutive years, Winner of the Gold Badge at the National Spelling Bee Competition, Most Respected Student Award from the Character Count Initiative, London, Chief Coker’s scholarship award for the overall best student in the senior category, Lagos State, and the 3rd best Overall student in the 2014 September diet of the Association of Accountancy Technician Scheme for West Africa (AATSWA) exams.Akin Omotesho is an avid reader, a prolific writer and a hungry fellow of knowledge. He is an author, public speaker, financial advisor, business man and a devout Christian. He’s a staunch disciple of Leke Alder, Andriy Kuksenko, Dr. Sunday Adelaja, Dr. David Ogbueli, Sam Adeyemi, John Maxwell, Dr. Tudor Bismark amongst others whom he sees as his mentors. He currently sits as a member of the board of directors of Echoes of Accounting, Sozo Talent Promotion, Tee-A Trends and He’s also the global ambassador of Thrive Shuttle Initiative, a social organization geared towards self-discovery and personal development. His hobbies include: writing, reading, and travelling.
