Akito Ikeuchi

Hello, my name is Akito Ikeuchi, and I am 18 years old living in Washington State. I was born in Tokyo Japan and moved to America at the age of 5. I am bilingual and can speak both English and Japanese fluently. I have two cats at home.

My article focuses on two topics: Sports and technology. I write sports articles centered around newest topics in baseball. I primary focus on international baseball using my experience in watching both MLB and NPB (Japanese professional baseball). My other topic, technology is focused on newest rumors around upcoming computer parts and issues surrounding and parts. I also do reviews for parts I buy and test, for any readers taht are interested in seeing results before they buy a product from Amazon.

My biggest takeaway from Journalism was enjoying writing for the first time in my educational career. Having the freedom to write on any topic and the feeling of getting to introduce my interests and hobbies to other people was very enjoyable. I found the importance in writing such articles when I realized that as a writer, I must explain to the audience from zero and made me reflect the questions or thoughts I had when I first started watching baseball or building computers.
