Akomaye Ferdinand is a Lecturer and Researcher in the Department of Plant and Ecological Studies (Botany) at the University of Calabar, Nigeria. He holds an M.Sc. in Botany (Plant Taxonomy and Systematics) from the same institution. His research expertise encompasses Molecular Biosystematics/Taxonomy, Paleoecology, Bioinformatics, plant biodiversity, and Bioconservation. He has contributed numerous publications to learned journals and Technical Reports concerning Nigerian biodiversity.
