Hello, people of the world. My name is Akram Rami Abbas. A first-generation Egyptian Sudanese American Muslim. I currently reside in Plano, Texas. I am also a senior that attends Plano West Senior Highschool. I'm not a special teenager. I love hanging out with friends and trying new foods. My passion ever since I was young was soccer. All I ever wanted was, to play in some of the world's biggest stadiums with thousands of people cheering my name. Well, now I have a pathway to make that dream a reality. In March I was admitted to the ETURE Gap year program for 2022-23, which takes place in Valencia, Spain. The ETURE program is known to be one of the most prestigious programs in the world, in which from the 38 players that are accepted every year about 36 go on to play D1 college soccer in America on full-ride scholarships, or sign a professional soccer contract. So that is my plan. I have now been admitted to the ETURE gap year program, and will hopefully fly down to Valencia in early august. ETURE is a once-in-a-lifetime experience in which I will be able to eat, breathe, and sleep soccer, and replicate a professional player's lifestyle. I will have the opportunity to play a full season with Spanish academies, and receive coaching from world-class coaches. From there 100's of top college programs fly out, to come and recruit players from ETURE, in which I will soon be one of them. After the year is over in Valencia, I hope to have received offers and enroll at the university of my choice in the USA. Some of my top picks right now include: UCLA, Florida Atlantic University, Duke, UNC, and Virginia Tech. Now I need your help the cost to attend ETURE is about $40,000 or about one year's cost to attend any out-of-state university.
