I have been a journalist for more than 8 years.

With BBC, I worked as a Monitoring Journalist - South Asia for two years, with close focus on Afghanistan and Af-Pak.

Back in the day, I hosted a news show on India's public broadcaster DD News for 4 years.

I grew up in Kashmir ( literally on the banks of the famous Dal lake). I am fascinated by social-media news and digital story telling, and would definitely love to wear more three-piece suits as I have in this picture, but last couple of years have been work-in-shorts kind of life. :)
