Akshara Goyal
hi!
I am a Chemical Engineer. I have joined SUNY-UB to pursue PhD after completing my bachelor's from MNIT Jaipur in 2015.
From working on colloids at IIT Delhi to simulating rarefied flows at IIT Mumbai, to delivering a business idea at IIM Udaipur I have learned and developed skills in working with different groups, model designing and public speaking.
I can speak, read and write fluent English and Hindi, and love to sketch and play harmonium.
At MNIT, I was the chief mentor for chemical engineering undergraduate student community. I also served as an overall coordinator of the Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC) MNIT.
All of this combined leads me to my goals: I want to use simulation technology to design micro/nano self-charging batteries that will revolutionize the energy sector and lead the world towards energy security. I want to help empower young innovators and use my skills to work with communities and impact lives.
