Danbury, CT

For the past 20 years, I have been employed by the State of Connecticut as an Investigator in the Office of the Public Defender for the Danbury Judicial District. My education consists of a Master’s Degree in Homeland Security Leadership from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor’s Degree in Justice & Law Administration from Western Connecticut State University. I’m a graduate of Henry Abbott Vocational Technical School and was recently inducted into the school’s Hall of Fame.

For the past 35 years, I’ve had the opportunity to serve our city, state and nation by serving in the US Army and US Army Reserves. My current rank is Command Sergeant Major. During my career, I’ve been deployed twice to Iraq as a Command Sergeant Major in support of the Global War on Terrorism. I have many accomplishments during my service to our nation, but I’m most proud of the three Bronze Stars, Meritorious Service Medal, Army Accommodation Medal with a Valor Device, Operation Iraqi Freedom Medal with 4 Campaign Stars and Combat Action Badge. I’m also a proud graduate of the US Army Non-Commissioned Officer Leadership Program and the US Army Sergeant Major Academy.
