For my top StrengthQuest theme I chose Relator. My other themes included Input, Responsibility, Harmony, and Arranger. One key attribute of Relator is the love of making new friends. It's not just making friends, but making a substantial connection. I like to become very close friends and I value a few really good friends over many casual friends. I'm willing to take the risk of being hurt by trying to become genuine friends. I will willingly take all the necessary steps in order to create a genuine friendship. The same goes for a relationship. I want us to know everything about each other. Only genuine relationships really matter. It doesn't really affect my academics because I'm actually pretty different in that regard. I like to fly solo with academics because I trust my work the most. On a test I won't be helping myself if I just relied on somebody else to do my work.

My favorite Ohio State Tradition is O-H-I-O. Whether it be chanted around the stadium before kickoff, or spelled out for a picture, I always love it. It's so amazing seeing how many people take the O-H-I-O pictures no matter where they are in the world. It shows how the Buckeye community really is a global one. It's also really fun to walk around and just randomly yell O-H and have the comfort of knowing somebody will respond with an I-O. It creates a great sense of community. There are Buckeyes all over the place and it's nice to have traditions that you can relate to with each other. This past weekend the O-H-I-O cheer even made it around Michigan Stadium. Before I came here I had no idea how wonderful Buckeye fans truly are. Buckeyes are truly the most passionate and supportive fans and I love being part of the Buckeye community.

For my dream job I chose Director of Basketball Operations. The description I chose was specifically for the Ohio State Men's Basketball team, but I would love to do it for any major university. Ideally that would be the University of Wisconsin since it's closest to home for me. The Director of Basketball Operations basically is the liaison between the team and the university. He handles things such as travel arrangements, the budget, scheduling, and team advancement. He even gets to sit courtside during the games. I have a deep love for basketball and business so this seems like the ideal situation for me. I had always had a general idea of what I wanted to do, but it was very helpful actually having to look up exactly what he did.
