A developer, a passionate one maybe, and surely developer here is not limited to software development. I started my journey in programming world since I was 15, and after 3 summers spent entirely sitting in front of a ViewSonic monitor of an Intel Celeron driven PC with 128 MB ram storage capacity, I successfully turned myself into a programmer, or at least that’s what I thought, and that thought was enough to lead me to the faculty of information technologies engineering for my bachelor studies. In opposite, the same thought didn’t help me finish my studies it within the minimum given timeframe of 5 years, because I quickly realized that the courses they taught did not provide enough material nor challenges to my thirst for knowledge and experience in that field. So I went out by my own and tried to learn and explore the market place, therefore I extended my time at university to the maximum of 7 and a half years, and graduated in 2014.

At university, I was like a visiting student who rarely attends lectures, because at the time I considered most of them a waste of time, and I still do. Instead, I was hopping between jobs, starting as an ATM monitor at the Real Estate Bank of Syria, and later doing some programming as a freelancer for a software agency while at the same time I was teaching computer literacy at elementary and high schools in my hometown, to finally moved to a full-time job as a software developer during the last two years of the university.

In the winter of 2004, I had the chance to closely watch the musical rehearsals of the scout band in my hometown and that made me decide to join the band and to end up playing the trumpet with them for the next 5 years.
