I am always the light bulb in a dark room. I will always make you laugh and smile. I frequently put other people's problems before my own which makes me forget I have problems. Therefore, I am always smiling and happy. During my time at Frostburg University, I plan on double majoring in Political Science and Fine Arts while focusing on International Affairs and Graphic Design. My education will allow me to become an economic lawyer and design my own posters for a campaign I plan to create to bring attention to the issues of corrupt governments.
After I graduate, I plan on attending law school to get a better understanding of politics because it affects all aspects of life. For example, money, school systems, and the way of living. Everything has some form of politics in it. I decided to help people in third world countries because they are the ones who need a voice.
In pursuing my desire to help others and my childhood dream to go into law, I’ve recently learned I can become an economic lawyer. I can get involved in the Peace Corps and use my experience to implement laws to help save countires. After the Peace Corps I am going to become a lawyer in multiple third world countries, and investigate corrupt governments. I am going to do everything possible to incorporate laws into their lifestyle. While doing that I want to come back to the United States and create a campaign or business that will mentor world leaders on ensuring all humans are being treated as if they have human rights.
Finally, when I am older, I want to come to D.C. to create another mentoring program targeting youth to assure them there are other fields to work in when they get older rather than the core classes you are taught throughout all years of school. Growing up I never knew career fields such as graphic design existed until I got to high school; I would like to expose the younger generation to these opportunities so they can prepare for more choices.
