The first and only sport I fell in love with was soccer. Growing up it felt like my life revolved around soccer with everyday consisting of either a practice or a game. I went through many good and bad memories. Sometimes the word “no'' can kill your confidence and can leave you doubting yourself and asking if you should continue playing. Fortunately, I never gave up and played every year throughout school and even ended up being the captain for my high school team. My dad who is a Civil Engineer influenced me to choose my major which is Civil Engineering. I knew that my major would be tough so I decided to quit soccer and focus on school. This decision was one of my biggest heartbreaks in my life because I had to let go of my first love. I wouldn't change anything though because I am full of life long memories and have created life long friendships along the way and I know that I have a lot of things ahead of me with one of them being graduating from the University of Georgia with a Civil Engineering degree.
