Hello, let me tell you a little bit about myself
I’m a 60’s child, born and bred on a tough London overspill estate near Luton in Bedfordshire. Iv always had a love of photography and art but this only really manifested 3 or 4 years ago after I decided my phone camera just wasn’t giving me the freedom I needed. I got myself a Nikon D3100 with a kit lens and threw myself headfirst into the world of photography.
My full-time job is in construction, at the moment I’m a steel fitter, crane supervisor working on Heathrow airport, I love my job…but it does encroach on my camera time!
My biggest love is landscape photography, but I really enjoy all aspects and I’m currently exploring portraiture, in particular taking shots of my 2 beautiful grandsons. I use a Nikon D7100 and I own just 2 lenses; a sigma 10-20mm F3.5 (this is almost permanently on my camera) recently I got myself a Nikon 50mm F1.8 for the portraits, and I’m blown away by the quality for not much over £100!
I have 4 wonderful kids, mostly grown up now, and 2 gorgeous grandsons. My family is a constant source of happiness and inspiration to me and they never fail to make me fill my chest with pride
