Alan Chadrjian, an ordained Minister through the Universal Life Church, currently acts as an officiant at civil unions and weddings in New Jersey and New York. Until recently, Mr. Chadrjian enjoyed a lengthy tenure in the New Jersey school systems, culminating with a number of years as Board Secretary and Business Administrator with Cedar Grove Public Schools. Alan Chadrjian holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bucknell University and a Master of Business Administration from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
In his roles at Cedar Grove Public Schools, Alan Chadrjian held oversight for budgetary concerns and managed both the Buildings and Grounds Supervisor and the four employees in his office. Aside from overseeing payroll and purchasing efforts, he maintained responsibility for keeping facilities up to state standards and ensured that the construction of a new middle school went smoothly. He amassed several accomplishments during his years there, including the implementation of new systems to automate human resources and purchase order functions. His other duties included managing school election tallies.
Before joining Cedar Grove Public Schools, Alan Chadrjian gained experience as a Business Administrator and Board Secretary at North Caldwell Public Schools, which caters to the needs of 600 students and maintains a budget of $6 million. He also spent four years as Clifton Public Schools' Assistant Business Administrator and Assistant Board Secretary, roles that enabled him to prepare for his future leadership positions. Mr. Chadrjian began his career in the banking sector, and he served as Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager of Midlantic National Bank.
Beyond his other duties, Alan Chadrjian has spent nearly three decades volunteering with Cedar Grove Ambulance & Rescue Squad. In addition, he acted as President of the organization for 12 years.
