Alan Choy
Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant
My name is Alan and I am a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC-IRB, Class L3 Licence - Unrestricted Practice), a member in good standing with The College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants (CICC), the regulatory body of immigration consultants.
I graduated from the Immigration and Citizenship Law program (GDipICL) at Queen’s University, Faculty of Law.
Since completing my Entry-to-Practice Exam to become a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant, I have been working at Desloges Carvajal Law Group (DCLG), a full-service immigration law firm located in downtown Toronto.
I have assisted clients from all over the world to immigrate to Canada. Furthermore, I have experience in handling complex immigration cases, some examples of which include humanitarian and compassionate exemptions, criminality, refusals and processing delays.
I have worked and lived in 5 different countries. I can work with people from various backgrounds, and I am resourceful to solve unexpected problems.
I immigrated to Canada when I was 13 years old, and I have migrated to other countries several times since then. I understand the journey one is going through to uproot yourself and relocate to Canada, and I am happy to help.
I speak English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
