Alan Cohn

An accomplished health care executive, Alan Cohn serves as the preseident and CEO of AbsoluteCARE (ABC), which has offices in Atlanta and two Maryland locations, Baltimore and Greenbelt. One of the country’s premier patient-centered chronic care providers, ABC has achieved a 100-percent satisfaction rating from its patients since opening in 1999. A member of the National Association of Vision Care Plans, Alan Cohn also serves as a strategic partnership consultant for Avesis, which provides vision, hearing, and dental insurance to millions of people across the United States.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Cohn managed a mail-based pharmacy service and worked for the Office of the Attorney Advisor of the Federal Health Care Finance Administration as well as the vision benefits administrator Spectera, Inc.

An alumnus of The George Washington University, where he served as the chair of the University Program Board and earned a bachelor’s in public affairs, Mr. Cohn went on to earn his juris doctor at the University of Baltimore School of Law.
