Alan Courtemanche

A Commerce City, Colorado-based senior quality inspector with more than four decades of electrical experience, Alan Courtemanche began his career as an apprentice for System Sales Corporation in 1979. Not long after that, he gained experience as a controls technical and control panel specialist and completed wiring for contractors in high-rise buildings, schools, and shopping malls. Alan Courtemanche joined IBEW Local 26 as a journeyman electrician in 1999 and served in this capacity until 2011.

Throughout his career, Alan Courtemanche has garnered extensive experience in layout, general wiring, generators, and large conduit. He installed large electrical conduit in facilities such as the DC Hall and Manassas Virginia Hall, and later served as foreman for Dynaelectric. From there, he held lead electrician positions with Raging Wire and Moss Construction. He also spent time as an electrical inspector at Kandahar Airfield and other places in Afghanistan for the United States military.

Alan Courtemanche has worked as senior quality inspector at Standard Solar since 2015, enforcing company specifications and the National Electrical Code for rooftop solar projects and ground systems nationwide. In addition to his professional pursuits, he is an experienced martial arts competitor and instructor. He has won several national taekwondo titles and was certified as a seventh-degree black belt by the Choong Sil Taekwondo Association.
