Growing up in a strict family home, it was always in my mind that I needed to do well in school and make something of myself when I was older. Determined is a word I use to describe myself. I have always been determined to do my best whether it is in the classroom, playing games, or when participating in sports. My journey began in Fairfax, Virginia where I spent most of my childhood before moving to Raleigh, North Carolina in middle school where I have spent the majority of my life becoming the person I am today.

I am currently a junior studying Mass Communications at NCCU. I find sports broadcasting to be something that sparks my interest, and always has. I play football at NCCU, and sports have always been a large part of my life. After graduation I plan on interning with ESPN to have a closer look at sports broadcasting. My goal is to one-day work for a major sports network such as ESPN or Fox Sports.

During my time spent at NCCU my goal is to achieve academic excellence, and continue to better myself and grow as a person.
