Howdy, I’m Alasan . I’m a teacher living in Gambia, Central River Region . I am a fan of education, volunteering, and writing. I’m also interested in reading and running.

About Me

I am an English and Science teacher dedicated to molding and building our young pupils into responsible, informed, and productive citizens. My passion lies in education not just teaching in the classroom, but also empowering fellow teachers through training programs that help children read, write, and thrive.

Beyond the classroom, I serve as a community activities coordinator, using education and engagement to strengthen community bonds. I am a committed advocate for child rights, working to ensure that every child is protected, valued, and given a fair opportunity to succeed.

I am also deeply involved in the promotion of Pulaar culture and in uniting the Fulfulde people through cultural awareness, language preservation, and community dialogue. I believe that by celebrating our heritage, we build stronger, more connected communities.
