I believe in the creative process, as a fundamental tool for our growth .. empowering us to celebrate the peace, prosperity, beauty and joy that we choose to vision..and lovingly share...

To help in the healing of society's wounds. through my writing, painting, poetry and videos.

When one is inspired there is a sublime desire to capture the nature of life’s essence...
to restore the innocence of a vision lost, through social conditioning in childhood.

I like to work with enthusiastic souls who celebrate the alchemy of the creative process.

I enjoy commissions, where the client has helped shape the work, as a part of their creative journey.

Many of my paintings are set pieces, depicting detailed scenes with rich texturing, reflecting my own deep interest in the human condition, the lives of people and their work.

The style of my art has a figurative, colourful element, which is a partial response to the visual impressions received. It is a synthesis of all of my senses., especially of intuition and knowing, those most internal of journey senses.

I create artwork for book illustrations.

My paintings has been published by Rosenstiel’s, Medici and Parnassus.

I studied Fine Art at Dundee University from 1974.... finishing my postgraduate studies there in 1979.

Scholarships: from the British Council to Budapest Fine Art Academy, 1979-80,
and the Elizabeth Greenshield scholarship (twice ‘81-82 & ‘86-87) from Montreal, Canada.

I have been exhibited at the Scottish Royal Watercolour Society,
the Royal Watercolour Society, and the Royal Institute.

Also in numerous galleries in towns across England, Scotland and Wales.
My work has also been exhibited and sold for private and corporate collections in Europe, America,Canada and Japan.
