Since the early age of three I've had my own pair of ice skates. It started with just falling around on the ice, then learning to skate, and eventually playing in numerous hockey leagues. Fitness has always been a huge part of my life. My parents pushed me into a very active lifestyle. I was playing on multiple hockey teams a season. When high school came around, I barely missed the cut for Varsity hockey my freshman year but played it the remaining three years. I had the chance to pursue college hockey but instead chose to focus more on my education. Giving up hockey never kept me from continuing to be active. With my spare time at college, I shifted my attention to working out, a less time consuming more flexable way of staying active. Now maintaining a strong fitness lifestyle motivates me to continue to be active and work hard everyday.
