I’ve been a publisher/business owner/journalist who made a career adjustment, coming full circle back to freelance content writing – before the term “content writing” existed. Back then we just called it “copywriting.”

Up until 2014, I was the co-founder of publishing company created in the early 90s. Now I write web content, blogs, press releases, company profiles, e-books, manage social media, and just about any digital writing project for businesses who have a brand to promote in this fast-paced digital age.

Leaving the city for the rural life was the right move. I have lots of trees around me, open spaces, and room to spread out. Unfortunately the mesquite and cactus like to spread out too. But where I live also gives me the opportunity to grow vegetable gardens, rescue abandoned animals, and take on some farm animals, which I’d like to do eventually. I’m a fierce supporter of social justice, “green” environmental initiatives, locally grown food, and natural health and wellness. Oh, and I’m learning to be real handy with a hammer and drill.
