ARt. YAQUB KAYODE LUQMAN (Albayinat) is a visual artist, art educator, learning environment therapist, and a researcher.

He is developing, conducting and making research in the fields of design and aesthetics for school environment and the effect on teaching and learning.

He was born in Lagos to a Muslim family on 21st Dec. He attended Qua'x nursery & primary school, and Ajeromi Ifelodun High school between 1996-2008., all in Ajeromi Ifelodun Local Government Area, Lagos state. Having completed his secondary Education, he then moved to the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University Zaria where he studied Fine Arts, majoring in Painting and graduated in 2014. He is currently an art educator in Great Heights Academy, kado Abuja. He is also a student of West Africa Centre for Arabic Calligraphy, Kaduna.

His Muslim background has been his driving force to specialize in modern Arabic calligraphy painting. He is also inspired by colours and fascinated with line to create shapes and forms, which is vivid in his styles of painting of abstract, still- life and Arabic letters.

He is a committed member of Society of Nigerian Artist (SNA FCT) and he has participated in several exhibitions and workshops among which are scapes & forms (2011), AFAS Exhibition (2011, 2012 & 2013), African Arts & crafts (AFAC Expo 2013), Arts and Calligraphy international exhibition (Feb. 2018) and International Batik Workshop (april,2018).
